INFORMATION TEXT REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA


This Information Text has been prepared by  Sheida Company ("SHEIDA") to clarify the processing of its customers' personal data by the Company in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698 ("Law").

a) Methods of Obtaining Personal Data and Legal Grounds

Your personal data is collected in electronic or physical environments. Your personal data collected under the legal grounds specified in this Information Text can be processed and shared within the framework of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.


b) Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data is processed within the framework of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law for the planning and execution of activities necessary to customize the products and services offered by the Company according to the preferences, usage habits, and needs of the relevant individuals, for the necessary work by the business units to benefit individuals from the products and services offered by the Company, and for the execution of related business processes, for the necessary work by the relevant business units to carry out the commercial activities carried out by the Company and the related business processes, for the planning and execution of the Company's commercial and/or business strategies, and for ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial-operational security of the individuals related to the Company.


c) Parties with Whom Personal Data May be Shared and Purposes of Sharing

Your personal data may be shared with the business partners and suppliers of the Company, as well as legally authorized institutions and organizations and legally authorized private legal entities within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, for the planning and execution of activities necessary to customize the products and services offered by the Company according to the preferences, usage habits, and needs of the relevant individuals, for the necessary work by the business units to benefit individuals from the products and services offered by the Company, for the necessary work by the relevant business units to carry out the commercial activities carried out by the Company and the related business processes, for the planning and execution of the Company's commercial and/or business strategies, and for ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial-operational security of the individuals related to the Company.


d) Rights of Data Owners and Exercise of These Rights

As data owners, if you submit your requests regarding the following rights to the Company under the title "Exercise of the Rights of Data Owners", your requests will be evaluated and concluded by our Company as soon as possible and in any case within 30 (thirty) days.


In accordance with Article 11 of the Law, as data owners, you have the following rights:


1. Learn whether your personal data is processed.

2. Request information if your personal data has been processed.

3. Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with this purpose.

4. Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad.

5. Request correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed and request notification of this correction to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred.

6. Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data in case the reasons requiring its processing disappear, despite being processed in accordance with the Law and other relevant laws, and request notification of this to the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred.

7. Object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems.

8. Request compensation for damages in case your personal data is damaged due to illegal processing.


According to the second paragraph of Article 28 of the Law, data owners do not have the right to request the exercise of rights in the following cases:


1. Processing of personal data if it is necessary for the prevention of crime or for the investigation of crimes.

2. Processing of personal data that has been made public by the individual.

3. Processing of personal data for research, planning, or statistical purposes by anonymizing them under the condition of complying with the obligations related to data security.

4. Processing of personal data carried out by official authorities, institutions, or professional organizations authorized by law for the purposes of preventive, protective, and intelligence activities carried out for the protection of national defense, national security, public security, public order, economic security, the privacy of private life, or personal rights, or for the performance of disciplinary investigation or prosecution or execution processes, within the scope of the tasks and powers conferred by law.
